(NYSE: SWFT) is pleased to announce that Mark McCoy, a Swift Maintenance Supervisor in its Memphis terminal, has been selected as the 2012 recipient of the Technology & Maintenance Council's (TMC) Recognition of Excellence in Maintenance Supervision Award. This represents the second time in three years that a Swift Maintenance Supervisor has received this prestigious award. Mark will be honored during TMC’s Industry Awards Luncheon at the Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition at the Tampa Convention Center on Feb. 20-23.

The Technology & Maintenance Council’s Recognition of Excellence in Maintenance Supervision Award was established in 1990 to recognize front-line supervisors and their contributions to the vehicle maintenance profession. A committee of TMC leaders selects winners from a group of nominees to represent excellence in maintenance supervision.
